We were chartered in 1922 and since 2002 ladies have become an integral part of the membership.

Our membership, currently around 40, is drawn from Ashford and the surrounding villages and encompasses people from all walks of life.

During my year in office, I hope we shall continue to:

Enjoy friendship with likeminded people.
Enhance our knowledge and understanding of all matters of general interest.
Through our combined strengths, help others in need, at home and abroad.

My Presidential Charity for the year is the Cystic Fibrosis Trust - a national charity which funds research into the disease and provides information and support for patients and families http://www.cftrust.org.uk/
