A Warm Welcome from our President 2012-13

When you take a look at our developing website I hope you will see both a Rotary Club full of history, as well as a modern forward thinking Club which has a sense of fun.

Our Club members range from retired members who have served Rotary since 1965 to our newest members who have joined us this year.   Members of the Rotary Club of Dover are a group of professional men and women, who work together to improve the lives of others through the world-wide family of Rotary International.   Rotary is a voluntary organisation which has high standing in all communities around the world through the work that Rotarians do.  Rotarians seek to bring service to their local communities, and world projects whilst keeping high ethical standards in their work and lives.  Rotarians work towards advancement of international understanding, goodwill and peace through world fellowship and communication.    Rotarian’s work with youth groups – both locally and around the world - sets examples for leadership and service.    The Rotarians of the Dover Club manage to do all this in each Rotary year – whilst having plenty of fun and fellowship.

Our Thursday lunchtime meeting enables us to come together for fun, fellowship and organisation of our service aims.   If you would like to join us for lunch – and learn more about the Rotary movement then contact our Club Secretary –through the contact us button at the top of the main menu,  and we will arrange for you to come to lunch and meet the wonderful Rotarians of the Rotary Club of Dover  - I look forward to meeting you there.

Yours in Rotary,

Neil
