Our Town
|
Faversham is a charming market town and port steeped in history which can be traced back to Roman times.
The town is located in the South East of England nestling between the North Kent salt marshes and the calm
sailing waters of the Swale in the North, and the North Downs to the South of the town.
The surrounding picturesque countryside provides a rare variety, including the coastal salt marshes designated as
a Site of Special Scientific Interest, woodland, hop fields, orchards, vineyards and the rolling hills of the North Downs.
The countryside within the area truly reflects the 'Garden of England'.
