Kids Out 2001

As our part of the national Rotary Kids Out day on 13th June, we took 120 "special needs" children from Bower Grove School to Chessington for the day. A high proportion of helpers to children is required, provided by the school, our club, and sixth-formers from Maidstone Grammar School.

The atmosphere in the school hall is already fizzing.

The Mayor, Paulina Stockell, seen modelling a Kids Out T-shirt and meeting the children.

Lunchtime and the Radio Mercury stand, and a chance to tell jokes to an audience, which is an important part of the English curriculum (Speaking and Listening)

The adults get to go on the rides as well...

Was it a good day???
