St John Ambulance held a dedication service at Aylesford Priory on 24th August 2002. St John Kent Commissioner Maureen Lewsey accepted the keys of two off-road ambulances, a mobile exhibition unit, a mobile command/control unit and "our" Crusader.

The Crusader multi-purpose ambulance was purchased with funds raised from our boxing evening in November 2001.
The service was conducted by Father Wilfred
After the service, St John staff showed visitors around their new vehicles
