The object of Rotary is: to encourage and fo0ster the ideal of service as a basis of worthy enterprise and, in particular. To encourage and foster
1. The development of acquaintance as an opportunity for service
2. High ethical standard in business and professions; the recognition of the worthiness of all useful occupations; and the dignifying by each Rotarian of his/her occupation as an opportunity to serve society.
3. The application of the ideal of service by every Rotarian to his/her personal business and community life
4. The advancement of international understanding. Goodwill and peace through a world- fellowship of business and professional people united in the ideal of service
These are the focus of our activities. Members attend regularly and share a meal together. This is often followed by a short presentation from a guest speaker most weeks. Once a month we hold a business meeting (after the meal) to ensure our activities on fund raising and community are on track. Throughout the year we hold formal, and informal social function, when member can invite their partners and friends to join them
OUT FUND RAISING PROJECTS
WE stage regular fund raising events, such as our annual Senlac Classic Car Show, Murder Mystery plays and our ever popular Quiz Evenings. Money raised at these events help us to make regular donations to many local charitable causes, and also to our own international projects.
