Histoire du Club
Lors de son assemblée générale
de décembre 1984 le Rotary club
de Calais (créé en 1936 ), qui
comptait à cette époque 50
membres, acceptait et votait sous
l'impulsion de son Président
Bernard GUILLAUMIN , la création
du second club Rotary à Calais.
Le nom de CALAIS RISBAN (sans
trait d'union) est proposé par
Fabien BACHEMONT gouverneur
1986-1987 du district , qui
oeuvrait depuis de nombreuses
années pour un nouveau club
calaisien.
Dés janvier 1985 les réunions
sont bimensuelles.
Le 2 avril 1985 le club est
officiellement admis par le Rotary
international.
La remise de charte fixée au 8
juin 1985 a lieu au casino de
Calais.
Le club de CALAIS RISBAN a été
fondé et repose toujours sur trois
piliers qui sont :
l'AMITIE , le SERVICE , la
TOLERANCE.

History of the Club
During the AGM in December 1984,
the Rotary Club of Calais (chartered
in 1936), who had at this time 50
members, accepted and voted for
the creation of a second Rotary
Club in Calais, at the
recommendations of its President
Bernard GUILLAUMIN.
The name CALAIS RISBAN (without a
dash) was proposed by District Gov
1986/87, Fabien BACHEMONT, who
had been working for several years
for a new Club in Calais.
From January 1985 the meetings
are fortnightly.
The 2nd of April 1985, the Club is
officially admitted to Rotary
International.
The Charter was handed on 8th
June 1985, in the casino of Calais,
The CALAIS RISBAN Club was
founded and rests always one
three pillars, namely:
FRIENSHIP, SERVICE and
TOLERANCE.
