Rtn. Jean Claude Cossart of Calais Risban collected the cheque for £3.000 the result of our fundraising during 07/08 in support of their
Misola Project in Africa

	Rachel & David opened their home for our latest Fun & Fundraising evening. This time to help raise funds for our joint project with Calais Risban Misola African project. About £400 was raised during the evening, and we all enjoyed a magnificent buffet and excellent wines. *30tth April 2008*

Another successful Charity Film Night
at the Empire Cinema Sandwich, raised
substantial funds for our Charities.
I don't know what the the Film was all about
(read Foghorn ..) but the pictures sent
to me show what a great time was had
prior to the show .....

..... but as usual, somebody had
to do the washing up .....

Earlier in 2007, we helped Elaine Craven of Maidstone, to obtain a Matching Grant
for a Generator in Kerala, India. Elaine has just come back from India and writes:

Further to my email earlier in the year, I am delighted to enclose some more photos of the generator project you all kindly supported.
I have just returned from three weeks in India and was able to see in person the difference the generator has made.
Thank you all again for your support with this most worthwhile project. Kindest regards Elaine

Boot Sale on a sunny Sunday Sept 9th, in one of Alistair fields in St Margaret's
